International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a world-proven English Test. Educational institutions, along with employers and government immigration agencies, require proof of English language skills as part of their recruitment or admittance procedures. The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an exam that measures the language proficiency of people who want to study, work or live abroad in English speaking countries. IELTS is the standard test used for university entry in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK and the US.
Cambridge ELEES, in partnership with IDP-IELTS Subang Jaya provides the administration for learners' IELTS exam registration. The level of the test
- IELTS is designed to assess English language skills across a wide range of levels. There is no such thing as a pass or fail in IELTS. Results are reported as band scores on a scale from 1 (the lowest) to 9 (the highest).

- This course consists of four levels. The table below shows the various course levels, entry requirements* and course duration.
*Entrance into the IELTS Preparation course is dependent on a learner's ability to demonstrate that he or she is already at the IELTS band listed in the chart, as assessed on the Placement Test given. This course is designed for learners aged 16 or above who are able to use English independently at an intermediate level.
